Micro-Biological ARs

Micro-Biological ARs in the wire frame model, click here

Just like chemical analysis requests

An AR is an AR is an AR

Micro-Biological analyses that conform to the standard bika data model and workflow for analysis requests, ie a singular results value per analysis per sample and no calculations, are handled with the workflow presented for Chemical ARs and JCs, including of the checking of the client’s status

MicroB ARs often get batched together per client and processed and published like that. Since these MARs are assigned as a whole to a MJC, the MJC’s ID is shown and hyper linked on the corresponding MAR

Additions

Packaged products. Where samples are classified as packaged products, extra data are captured and shown in reports: production date, sell by date, best before date, packaged weight

For packaged products, a weight analysis is automatically added to the analyses requested but the user may deselect this when creating or editing the AR

Secondary analyses

Some analyses require secondary analyses using a different method. These are indicated in the set-up for the analysis

When such an analysis is selected onto an AR, the secondary analysis is automatically included on the AR (and Job cards for that matter). However, clients only get to see a result average of the 2 methods. Lab staff see both

beware circular references! two analyses having one another as secondary  analyses
